Dang that website looks nice! Look at you putting yourself out there in the world! It’s brave, it’s bold, it’s got your heart and soul ALL over it! You’re making yourself available to your audience, inviting folks to learn more about you and your work, you even have all the “connect now” and “sign-up here” buttons prominently displayed so you can continue to connect!

But where are those emails going? What happens to that information once your new friend signs up?

For me, it turned out they went exactly nowhere! It took me weeks to learn that I hadn’t properly set up the “MX Records” so that I could receive emails through my new business address. Not only that, I didn’t have a destination enabled on all those “contact” buttons! Whooopsie!

Live and learn and hang out at your growing edge. It’s incredibly gratifying to figure these things out. Also, if you need help - let me know. I’m happy to share my lessons learned - no charge! Some things really should be easier. ;-)
