Setting Up Your Start-Up

You’ve started your business. You’ve done the requisite steps to incorporate according to the requirements of your state. You’ve set up your business bank account and have a plan for taxes. You’ve built your website. And then it begins… the deluge of subscriptions and services! Your domain, your host, your custom email address! Where do those newsletter sign ups go anyway?

This is where I am. Just when I thought I could really focus on the content of my business, I find myself in a muddy swamp. My feet are being sucked into the muck. The squishy sound is intensifying, I’m losing focus.

So I took 90 minutes to dive into it and get messy! Time limiting the painful parts feels liberating. I’ve reached out to various customer support people and will await responses. I’ll come back to the muck tomorrow, but for now I get to move on to the joys of doing my work. I can handle it all by taking on just a little bit at a time!
